CALL FOR COMMENTS on the draft Invitation to tender of granting rights to use radio frequencies to provide electronic communications networks for the provision of terrestrial digital radio broadcasting and multimedia applications in the frequency band 174-230 MHz

In order to implement Section 21 of the Electronic Communications Act, CTU has prepared a draft Invitation to tender and launched a tender for frequencies in the 174-230 MHz band designated for the propagation of terrestrial digital radio broadcasting and multimedia applications.

Pursuant to Section 130 of the Electronic Communications Act, CTU is submitting the draft "Invitation to tender of granting rights to use radio frequencies for the provision of electronic communications networks in the 174-230 MHz band" for public consultation. In order to maximize the transparency of the whole process, a draft Terms of the Invitation to Tender is presented.

Comments on the draft shall be submitted no later than 30 days from the date of its publication, i.e. by 29 May 2023. CTU invites stakeholders to submit any comments they may have on the proposed conditions of the tender during the public consultation, as after the invitation to tender CTU is no longer able to change the terms of the tender and therefore cannot take into account comments received subsequently.
