Accessibility statement

CTU is obliged to make the content of its website www.ctu.cz accessible in accordance with Act No. 99/2019 Coll., on Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications and on Amendments to Act No. 365/2000 Coll., on Public Administration Information Systems and on Amendments to Certain Other Acts, as amended, which implements Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications.

This accessibility statement applies to the website ctu.cz.

State of compliance

This website complies with Act No. 99/2019 Coll., on Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications and on Amendments to Act No. 365/2000 Coll., on Public Administration Information Systems and on Amendments to Certain Other Acts, as amended, with the exceptions listed below.

Older PDF documents cannot be accessed with a machine-readable layer - in most cases they are old scans of the originals.

Some documents, that are received for publication on the website from other authorities, generated by the accounting system, etc., are not accessible. However, the website operator is obliged to publish them, so it does so. Similarly, some of the older photos or photo albums in the photo galleries lack alternative text descriptions. Bringing these deficiencies into compliance with the law and accessibility rules would be financially demanding for the operator in this case, so according to Section 7 of Act No. 99/2019 Coll. this is not regulated additionally.

Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was made on 10 August 2023. During the assessment, compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines - WCAG 2.1 standard was monitored.
