CTU study on the 6425-7125 MHz band

CTU published a feasibility study on the granting of nationwide IMT/5G rights in the 6425-7125 MHz (Upper-6 GHz) band, taking into account national conditions. The study examines the conditions for the implementation of IMT/5G in case that a binding European harmonisation regulation on the Upper-6 GHz band for IMT/5G applications is adopted. Different scenarios for the release of the band from existing users in the fixed radiocommunications service have been analysed taking into account technical, time, economic and legal aspects. The study is based on information available in May 2023.
