ANNOUNCEMENT of CTU about the result of the opening of the envelopes of applications received in the tender for granting of the rights to use radio frequencies to provide electronic communications networks for the provision of terrestrial digital radio broadcasting and multimedia applications in the 174–230 MHz band

On 4 September 2023, CTU conducted an opening of the envelopes of the applications received in the tender procedure for granting of the rights to use radio frequencies to provide electronic communications networks  in the 174–230 MHz band designated for the provision of terrestrial digital radio broadcasting and multimedia applications. 

CTU received 9 envelopes with applications by the deadline of 31 August 2023.

CTU evaluated the applications in terms of compliance with the conditions set out for participation in the tender. On the basis of the recommendation of the selection committee CTU has decided that all nine applicants have complied and may therefore participate in the auction.
