CALL for comments on the draft decisions to withdraw the designation of undertakings with significant market power on the basis of the results of the analysis of former relevant market No. 1 - Wholesale call termination on individual public telephone networks provided at a fixed location

To implement Section 51(11) of Electronic Communications Act, CTU has prepared on the basis of the analysis of former relevant market No. 1 - Wholesale call termination on individual public telephone networks provided at a fixed location, draft decisions to withdraw the designation of undertakings listed below as undertakings with significant market power.

The results of the analysis were published on 25 February 2025 in the Telecommunication Bulletin (2/2025), as Measure of General Nature No. A/S1/02.2025-1. On the basis of the results of the analysis, CTU concluded that former market No. 1 no longer meets the three criteria test and therefore can no longer be considered a relevant market for ex ante regulation. There is no longer any reason to designate these companies listed below as undertakings with significant market power in this market.

In accordance with Section 130(1)(b) of the Electronic Communications Act, draft decisions shall be submitted for consultation with stakeholders.

In accordance with Section 130(6) of the Electronic Communications Act, comments on the draft decision may be submitted within 30 days of the date of publication of this call.

Following the public consultation, the comments will be settled, and the administrative authority will finalise the relevant administrative proceedings with the parties involved.
