CTU launches “Check the Quality of Fixed Internet” campaign

CTU is launching the “Check the Quality of Fixed Internet” campaign, which aims to promote the improvement of the quality of internet access services provided at a fixed location and obtain comprehensive data on their availability and quality across the Czech Republic. This data will be subsequently used to support the future development of telecommunications infrastructure and for map visualization. The project has received support from European funds.

CTU offers two ways to participate in the campaign: request a measurement by a CTU technician, based on a request sent to mereni@ctu.cz, or perform the measurement on your own. Municipalities and citizens can use the certified measurement tool - NetTest, where they select the “Certified measurement” menu and follow the instructions. The measurement results are available in PDF format and can also be used for submitting a claim about the service, if necessary, against the provider if the quality of the service does not meet the contractual terms and conditions.
