European Commission launches consultation on guidelines for the application of the Gigabit Infrastructure Act

The Commission has extended the deadline for submitting input on the forthcoming guidelines under Article 3 of the GIA (Access to Physical Infrastructure). The draft text is not yet available; however, the Commission is asking for substantive input. These guidelines are of key importance for the effective application of the GIA. Therefore, we strongly encourage all relevant stakeholders to participate in the Commission’s consultation.

Contributions can now be submitted via the EU Survey portal by 30 September 2025.
