PRESS RELEASE: Marek Ebert remains CTU Council Chairman

Prague, 26 March 2025 - The Government has extended the mandate of the current CTU Council Chairman, Mark Ebert, and at the same time reappointed him as CTU Council Chairman for three years from 1 April 2025. His new mandate as a Member of the Council will last for five years.

"I thank the Minister of Industry and Trade and the Government for their confidence. I am glad that I will be able to build on what my colleagues from CTU and I managed to do in the previous period. Our goal now is to complete the expansion of CTU into the new digital competences (DSA and AI). My goal is to continue to ensure that CTU is perceived as an efficient and predictable regulatory authority, open to expert discussion, as my colleagues and I have been trying to do in recent years," summarises Marek Ebert, today's reappointed CTU Council Chairman.
