PRESS RELEASE: Only one applicant applied for the selection procedure for the postal licence holder

Prague, 17 July 2024 - At the premises of CTU, the envelope with the application for the selection procedure for the postal licence holder for the period from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2029 was opened today. Only one applicant, Česká pošta, s.p., i.e. the current postal licence holder, applied for the selection procedure within the deadline of 10 July 2024.

After verification, CTU found that the application had met all the formal requirements. It has therefore been forwarded to the Evaluation Committee for examination and evaluation in accordance with the terms of the selection procedure. CTU anticipates that the work of the Evaluation Committee could be completed by the end of August 2024.
