Public consultation on the draft delegated act on access to data under the DSA

The European Commission has published a draft delegated act (Delegated Act) specifying the rules for applications for the status of vetted researcher under Article 40 of the DSA. This act sets out rules on how researchers can access data from very large online platforms or very large online search engines. The draft is currently subject to a public consultation during which the public can comment on the draft. CTU, as the designated national digital services coordinator, is calling for active involvement of the sector and academia to contribute to improving the final rules. Contributions can be submitted directly on the European Commission portal by 26 November 2024.
