Detailed Information on a Discount Request

Who is entitled to price concession (discount)

Persons with disabilities and persons with low incomes as defined below are eligible to apply for price discounts. However, each eligible person can only benefit from this concession once within a calendar month, even if they are eligible under both criteria (disability, low income).

For the purposes of granting entitlement to price discount, persons with disabilities are defined as

a) a holder of a ZTP (severely physically disabled) card due to complete or practical deafness,

b) a holder of a ZTP/P (severely physically disabled with a guide),

c) a person dependent on the assistance of another natural person at level II (moderate dependence), level III (severe dependence) or level IV (complete dependence) or, in the case of a minor, a consumer who personally cares for that minor, or

d) a consumer who is raising or who personally cares for a minor who has been entrusted to them for care replacing parental care based on a decision of the competent authority and who holds a certificate under letter a) or b).

For the purposes of price concessions, a person with a low income is understood to be a person who is a recipient of a state social assistance benefit, which includes a living component, or a member of the household of this recipient under the State Social Assistance Benefit Act.

Amount of price concession (discount)

The amount of the price discount is a maximum of CZK 200 per calendar month per person with the selected provider.  Only one price discount is available, even if the eligible person is both disabled and on a low income at the same time.

What services can the discount apply to

  • Mobile Internet,
  • Fixed Internet,
  • Mobile voice services, or
  • Fixed voice services.

Alternatively, the discount can be applied to a bundle that includes any of the previous services.

The price discount  can be used for all provided services, tariffs and service bundles at the selected provider.

Beyond this obligation, T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s. must also allow the use of price discounts on at least one tariff via a prepaid card.

Therefore, the obligation to provide a discount does not apply to all prepaid tariffs.
